Summer Stitching Fun with By The Bay

I love Donna's style.  She has such  a unique look in her designing and I've been a fan for a while.  She is having a Summer Mystery Stitchalong on her blog, so if you are interested in joining in on the fun be sure to check out the By The Bay Needleart blog!

If you take some time and go through her blog you will find she's doing workshops as well.  Some day I would love to, too bad it's so far to travel, my partner would love to try his hand at the local fly fishing.

Just to give you a glimpse of one of my stitching projects of Donna's designs I went back and found this photo.  I've made several of her smaller pieces but this is a 3 parter and will most likely take me a good few years.  LOL...sometimes I'm incredibly slow.  Enjoy!!!

Have a great weekend,

Your cross stitch project is so pretty. I used to do counted cross stitch all the time when my sons were younger. I gave so many of the completed pictures away. I did one of Jackson Square in the French Quarter. I had all but 1/4th of it complete and put it away for about 12 years....a few years ago my 90 year old friend finished it for me. I am going to post a photo on my blog so you can see it.
She can see those little squares better than I can and her eyes are almost 40 years older than mine!

The partial cross stitch almost looks like it could stand alone. It looks great. What colour cloth are you using? It looks like a pale aqua.

I went to her blog and copied the SAL info for later. Who knows, I may be able to do it now but not likely.
