Obligation Sewing Nearly Done!!!!

You know what threw me for a loop?
Cutting the tip of my finger off last June.

Seriously, since then I have had a hard time meeting my deadlines and expectations.  Heck I've been in stitching exchanges and round robins for more then a decade and these last few months have just kicked me in the shins, I just haven't been able to do it.  Maybe it's a mind thing, because heaven knows my finger is nearly as good as new...just wish I could get the feeling back in the end of it, although now and again it does feel like it's asleep.  At least it's a feeling!

Anyway, I finally took care of two of my last three obligation pieces.

Sue in Mobilia, watch your mailbox, finally, after a couple of weeks of dragging your mail back and forth to work (along with an orange in the bottom of my tote bag, you don't even want to know what that looked like), I remembered it was there and put it in the mail.  Whew...

I also finished sewing the final row of our quilting round robin.  Yay!  It's theme is hearts and was due January 1st....finished and mailed it out...late but nevertheless, in the mail!  Wahoo!!!

I'm very pleased with how it turned out and I can only hope that Sheila feels the same.

Now, only one special project I took on with my quilting bee group left...I'm really close, mostly just finishing up the border quilting and binding.

Once I finish that I think I'm going to have to take a break from exchanges, etc. for a bit, just to catch my breath.

Yay!
